About Me
Hi! I’m Meena. I am an UX/UI Designer and Researcher from the Seattle area.

Before pursuing UX Design, I was a consultant implementing EMRs (electronic medical records) in hospitals all over the U.S. Some aspects of my career that I enjoyed were working with people to define solutions to help with daily tasks, design software based on those solutions and develop training to communicate user functionality. Upon reflection, I was surprised to realize that regardless of how well the software functioned, if the software design didn’t lead to an intuitive enough user experience, it was very difficult to be adopted by users. After this experience, I decided I wanted to learn more about design and pursue a UX Design career.

When faced with a challenge, my process is to analyze the problem, gather the necessary research, and develop solid solutions with enthusiasm. I am always happy to help with passion and empathy.

In addition to the enjoying the visual art form that comes with UX design, I also love the arts of music and dance. I break into song all the time (sometimes off-key). Dance-based exercise is my favorite form of movement. I have even extensively studied classical Indian dancing (Bharatanatyam). I also love spending time biking, reading, and exploring the world with my partner-in-crime, my 5-year-old son.
